Void Hauler

Overview

An indie action roguelite set in a galaxy shattered by an alien invasion. 

You are a Void Hauler, a wartime smuggler piloting a battle-ready modular space ship you build yourself.  

Gameplay

Acquire and equip parts for your ship including weapons, batteries, precious profit-generating cargo, thrusters, and many other functions. Ships take damage dynamically, and you must avoid projectiles and obstacles while battling the alien menace. 

Levels, maps, and shops are procedurally generated each time you play, so you'll have to adapt and carefully choose what parts to purchase and equip to your ship. Will you haul tons of precious (but cumbersome) cargo? Load up on weapons to annihilate enemies and collect bounties? Or try to find a balanced approach that maximizes survival and profits?

Project Status

This project is in Alpha. It is effectively a vertical slice, showing off the systems and core gameplay with enough content to get through the first act and fight one boss.

The project IS in active development towards an eventual full release. It's FREE for now, and I welcome constructive feedback from all sources as I move otward an eventual full release.
